The Tapestry Rose Yarn Annex is an extension of the mother shop and will offer the same exceptional products and service that the Ocean Park, WA store has been known for.
Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop of Ocean Park , WA came in to existence in 1992. Colleen has been in the restaurant business for many years but her heart was always in the creative arts. The opportunity showed itself and she jumped right in with a bit of stock and offered her fabulous desserts with coffee and espresso. This was in the days before the move to combine yarn shops with coffee houses and it was a winner right from the git go!
Today, with Colleen’s extraordinary emphasis on customer services, Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop is considered one the most fun, helpful, interesting, and well stocked yarn shops on the North West coast .
Each year Colleen attends the trade shows and brings back the newest ideas, yarns, and tools. She and her husband Gary make every effort to find the best tools to help those with disabilities or challenges as they age to be able to continue their craft.
Colleen’s sister, Candace had her own fiber and needlework store in 1983 and has worked with Colleen since the opening of Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop 18 years ago, providing business support and artistic creations for demo’s and for sale in the shop. Between the two they have 45 years of professional needle art experience to offer and now two locations to offer that experience in!

Products that may be available in the Washington store but are not on the shelves at Tapestry Rose Annex in Tillamook can be order and brought down with our weekly delivery. Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop also ships their products daily throughout the world. They happily work with their customers on special orders. Candace and her daughter, Teresa, will act as the liaison between the Tillamook Annex and the Washington store and intend to make your experience in Tillamook as great as the Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop customers have come to rely on.
